WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. Precise, unchanging, inclusive, effective and applicable to our daily lives.

 

We believe in an Eternal God who is the Creator of all things: God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is completely lovable and completely holy.
 

We believe that sin has separated us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, as God and man, is the only one who can reconcile us with Himself, as He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, rose again to prove His victory and enable us to fulfill our mission on Earth.

 

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the “new birth,” we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that, in order to live the holy and fruitful life that God wants, we need to be justified through faith in Jesus Christ, be baptized in water and be filled with the Holy Spirit, which enables us to use spiritual gifts.

We believe in the importance of the Church and the need for believers to meet regularly in communion, prayer and “breaking bread”.

​

We believe that God gifts us individually with gifts and talents so that, as a community, we can fulfill the purpose of worshiping God and serving others.

We believe that God healed us and transformed us to live a healthy life in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that our eternal destiny in heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

​

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return again as he promised.
